Microsoft Teams Pro features won't cost extra for supported licenses

The initial bulletin sent out to admins did not specify if Teams Pro would price extra for organizations. Now, a newly updated message from Microsoft explains that the Teams Pro service plan will non have an additional charge. It will be added automatically to supported licenses.

ZDNet shares the updated message, which states:

On February. nine, we published an MC mail service regarding a new Teams Pro service plan. To clarify, there is no change to existing product licenses with the addition of this new service programme. Rather, the service plan will exist added automatically to Microsoft 365 and Part 365 E5/E3/A5/A3, and Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Concern Premium licenses, and will enable users who are licensed for these SKUs to automatically receive capabilities rolling out to Teams in the near futurity. There is no action required past admins, and no additional buy is necessary for Microsoft 365 and Part 365 E5/E3/A5/A3 and Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Business concern Premium licensed users to acquire the new Teams capabilities that will be role of the Teams Pro service plan.
